Ron Dennis was instrumental in bringing McLaren to the road and launched the F1, the world's former fastest production car. Surely, though, he must have had one for himself? He did, until his wife, Lisa, saw it and hated the specification.

This car was subsequently moved on. If you follow Ed Bolian’s VINwiki, you will know it is believed that the infamous drug lord El Chapo—or at least his cartel—had a McLaren F1 hidden in Mexico (with some modern theories suggesting it may now be in Colombia). Little is known about the car’s current state, but based on images, the unique "brown and red" spec, and a dubious number plate, it is highly likely to be Ron’s old car, Chassis #039.
