Mansour Ojjeh was a visionary businessman responsible for introducing TAG (Techniques d’Avant Garde) to Formula 1. He funded the development of the iconic Porsche-built turbo engines that dominated the 1980s. His company later acquired Heuer to create the world-renowned brand TAG Heuer. Ron Dennis brought Mansour on as an investor and partner, but this would ultimately lead to Dennis's departure; following a breakdown in their long-term friendship, Ojjeh was the key director to push for Ron’s ousting from McLaren.
